Night Time Routine
In order to see real results in your hair, you need to follow specific steps in order to ensure that moisture remains in your hair while you sleep.
First of all, stop sleeping with your hair in it’s unkempt free form. Leaving your hair out while you twist and turn during your slumber only encourages the formation of unnecessary knots which later leads to breakage during detangling. Keep your hair in loose twists or plaits or at least keep it up in a pineapple using a metal free hair band.
Next, ensure that your hair is covered either with a satin bonnet or scarf. Alternatively sleep on a satin or silk pillowcase. These softer materials reduce friction between your hair and the fabric you’re laying on. This means you won’t wake up with frizzy dry hair.
Don’t forget to LOC before you install your bedtime plaits. Remember, moisture is the key to any successful regimen. Be sure to include your ‘Liquid’ ‘Oil’ and ‘Cream’ routine to your hair before tucking it away before sleep. Doing this several times in the week keeps your moisture levels up until your next wash day.
